LORDS.ORG Ltd
Conceived, created, raised the finances and ran the Official
web sites for the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and
Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) under the banner of Lord's The
Home of Cricket (www.lords.org). Secured funding from
Microsoft. Instigated and created the first "dot com"
company in the UK, Lords.Org Ltd (1997). We formed the first
spin off company in the UK, for any industry, created
specifically to unlock the new Intellectual Property Rights
brought about by the Internet.
Abbeycrest plc
Project managed a company wide assessment of the business
processes and implemented the recommendations including the
installation of a SAP/R3 enterprise system (currently in
progress).
England and Wales Cricket Board
Defined and implemented a complete restructuring of the IT
facilities for the whole of English cricket.
Planned and project managed the implementation of a Wide
Area Network and secure email service between Lord's, all
the County Grounds and the overseas cricket boards.
Planned and managed the implementation of the IT
infrastructure for the Cricket World Cup 99 ticketing
system.
Office Supplies Online
Installed and ran the IT function of a startup company
selling stationery via telephone and online via the
Internet.
Rachel Riley Ltd
Advised and implemented the Ecommerce Strategy for a
successful mail order business selling high fashion
clothing.
Peters, Fraser & Dunlop (PFD)
Advised the senior management of the implications and
potential impact of the Internet on the intellectual
property rights of agents and their clients in the literary,
television and film industries.
First Quench
Project managed a major review of the retail practices of
Victoria Wine, Threshers and Odd Bins wine stores.
Marylebone Cricket Club
Reorganised the Club's administrative systems and upgraded
them to the latest client/server technology including
recommending and supervising a total revision of the
membership records, ticketing and EPOS systems.
J Sainsbury Group
Devised and implemented numerous systems including the
network of in-store backoffice and EPOS systems across all
250 stores in to the group's network.
ICL
Set up and ran the Retail Consultancy operation for ICL
worldwide.
IBM
Trained newly appointed PC dealers in Moscow, Prague and
Budapest in western financial management skills.
Barclays Bank
Advised the international division on the implications of
data protection legislation and restrictions on trans-border
data flows.
Littlewoods
Defined the strategy and implementation plan for
decentralising their distribution network.
Arthur Andersen
Prepared and delivered an internal training course on the
Technicalities of Microcomputers for Accountants.
Filofax
Recommended and implemented a complete overhaul of their
computer systems from clean sheet to live running.
WH Smith Business Supplies (now Niceday Ltd)
Successfully project managed the merging of 5 acquired
companies in to one homogeneous unit covering all aspects of
marketing, logistics and information systems. |
